a. Planning & Comic Layout 

I chose a recent clip from the new latest movie, a freak show about Southeast Asia,This is the first part of my draft.I made a few simple pencil strokes to show my main characters.

The pencil line draft was not particularly satisfactory to me, so I did the line draft coloring, determining the overall tone color for the final version, etc.

   The story originated from Thailand. A newlywed couple traveled in Thailand. In the evening, they left the tour group and went to the remote night market in Thailand alone. Because they had just got married, the couple were full of interest. When they arrived at a clothing store, their wife fell in love with their clothes and went to try them . The husband was waiting outside. Unexpectedly, before his wife came out for more than 20 minutes, the husband went into the store to look for them. As a result, there was no wife in the store. The wife disappeared out of thin air. The man asked the clerk. The clerk was new to the newcomer and did not know why. The man was annoyed and searched the whole street and did not see his wife's figure.The man called the police, but because the wife disappeared without a trace, the police did not have any way, unfortunately, the man's tourist visa expired, can not stay abroad for a long time, the heart has not put down his wife, in a year, the husband has been inquiring, a year later and went to the show in Thailand, suddenly found that the stage was cut hands and feet, The woman whose tongue was also cut was his wife, and the man redeemed his wife with more money after the performance, but the wife had already experienced death by a thousand cuts, and soon after returning home, he left the world.The reason why the wife disappeared into thin air is that the floor in the fitting room is not an ordinary floor, but a porch that can be put down, and the wife stepped in and fell into the mystery below the floor.

After drawing the first draft, I found that the color did not highlight the key points, and the overall color was red, with no primary or secondary relationship. Although it created a scary and suspenseful atmosphere, the main object was not prominent, so I revised it

I divided several pictures, from the distant to the close, the end is slowly narrowed, the light from the distance is also moving in the hero's face, so that the audience can see the hero's painful expression clearly, the reason why the hero will leave tears, is to see the audience has their own husband.

I started with the first version of the animation, doing 11 frames of animation, and then reduced it later.To make the animation look more coherent

In order to make the story more coherent, the teacher asked us to add the beginning and the end of the story. My story comes from a Chinese movie, so the beginning story I added was that my wife entered the fitting room and fell through the floor of the fitting room. In the darkness, she was greeted by two terrible big hands, and the fitting room was also full of invisible dark hands, dragging her.

The ending of the story shows that the husband finds his wife and spends all his savings to buy her, but the wife has been tortured to survive, and then leaves the earth, and the story ends.

4.Reflections

I use AI to create every clip in the animation, using a lot of tools. Although there are shortcomings, I am carefully making every frame, then putting it into PS, and then making adjustments. There will be many problems in the whole process, but it is slowing down. I learned slowly to solve problems, and also learned a lot of skills and knowledge about software. I like this process, and I will learn from experience to complete better works.
