Introduction
Project 1: Proposal Development
Week 1
I formed a team with two students from the Entertainment Design program and we
divided up different tasks according to our majors to ensure effective
contributions.
My share of the team's tasks is design, animation and final video
editing.

Our theme aims to showcase the story of hotpot with iconic products. Our team
will combine 2D and 3D animations to show.
At first, we wanted to make an advertising animation about McDonald's, but
after communicating with the teacher, we found out that McDonald's is a fast
food, and some people will boycott this kind of food. And some Muslims don't
eat pork, so McDonald's is not suitable for everyone. So we changed
McDonald's into a hot pot.
We will use scenes showing the process of lifelong growth to promote the
development of the story, showing that no matter when, even if we grow older
and our academic performance continues to improve, the hot pot tradition
will never disappear and there will always be a place for us.
Week 2
After the team members finish the storyboard and Narrator, I will make a Canva
slide to beautify it.

We designed the initial characters
Our original story concept was about the protagonist growing up from a
child to a grown-up dining room, so we drew the protagonist from the age of
five to 35.

We received feedback from the teacher in the third week. We need to add a
problem statement. Our video needs to give the audience a warm feeling, not
just introduce the product. We need to find more video and photo references
to make the character's characteristics more obvious.

Then we designed the brand logo. We voted for the first logo among four,
which can reflect both the Yuanyang pot and Chinese culture.

Week 3
For this week’s Proposal Presentation, we’ve made some improvements based on
the feedback we received last week.We have beautified the slides

Feedbacks
Week 02 (12/02/2025) :
- Instead of using McDonald's, choose a different restaurant to avoid copyright advertisement issues
- Choose a specific age for each age group
- Think of a way to insert more 3d animation into the video instead of mostly using 2d animation
Week 03 (19/02/2025) :
- Add problem statement
- Look for reference for the world (background)
- Look for more infographic video reference
- Make the character a bit bigger and change some facial features
Reflection
Experience:
In this course almost cooperation, we were confronted with an
critical venture that was closely related to future work
chasing. Since this was a brief semester, we as it were had
seven weeks to total the preparatory work, so we had to induce
into the state rapidly. Within the to begin with week, we
examined the subject and kept on communicate with the instructor
after steady corrections. Whether it was online or offline
discourses, we were always collecting involvement. With the
teacher's criticism, we were able to do the following step
superior. The key to the team's fruitful completion of the
assignment lies in a clear division of labor. As an liveliness
understudy, I incline toward to total the movement portion, so
in this extend, I was capable for character plan. I looked for
character references and fashion references through our
storyline, and was dependable for slide plan. Amid this time, I
changed numerous forms of the character plan. Some time recently
the teacher reviewed it, I would appear it to the group
individuals, who would point out the issues, and after that
appear it to the instructor. In spite of the fact that we
experienced numerous issues all through the talk, we would
adjust them step by step. Everybody was scrupulously completing

Educator Kamal, we had a clearer understanding of how to bargain

Observations：
Within the handle of collaboration, I have watched that clear
division of labor and compelling communication are the key to the
smooth advance of the project. Each group part is evident almost

In expansion, criticism and recommendations among group

Findings：
After counseling with Kamal, we had a clearer understanding of how
to handle each portion of the venture, which empowered us to make
strides our work more targetedly. In general, this venture not as it

collaboration and problem-solving capacities.
