Reflections

Experience：After studying for a whole semester, I think this course is very interesting. I have learned different skills in this course. The whole filming process is very interesting. We have encountered many group activities in this course. When we work together to complete a task, I think this process is very worthwhile. The clear division of labor among group members will make the production process more complete. This is my first time to be an actor. I need to remember the lines and understand the inner emotions of the actors in film and television works, but I think the more difficult part is lighting management. During the production process, we encountered many times that we needed to reshoot because of lighting, but the members of our group did not give up. The learning atmosphere of the whole group is very good. The final homework can also be done on a topic that you are more interested in, which will be helpful for my future study of animation.

Observation:

I have observed that in the process of making stop-motion animation, you need to make sure you have a good plan and not just do it mindlessly. Lighting has a great impact on the scene. Although you can adjust the color tone in the PR software later, if the lighting is not tight enough, it will still have a little impact. I encountered many difficulties in the process of shooting stop-motion animation, and I had to reshoot several times, but I was very happy when I saw the results. I will use the animation knowledge I learned this semester to prepare for the next semester.

findings：

I found a lot of interesting camera angles, and when I tried to shoot and post a TickTok video, I also added some novel angles. I also found out how important sound effects are to videos. When I was completing my homework, a suitable audio would affect the whole viewing experience. I think this is very important. Overall, this semester was very interesting and fulfilling. Although there are some shortcomings, I will continue to work hard to correct them and make adequate preparations for learning animation in the next semester.
