REFLECTION

Experience:In the course of these 14 weeks, from muddling to gradually understanding; When I first came here, due to visa reasons, I could not keep up with the school. Seeing everyone familiar with computer control and completing homework successfully, I felt a lot of pressure and anxiety. Gradually, I got a preliminary understanding of typography. I learned that fonts are not just shapes that we can see with the naked eye, but also contain many ideas of designers. When I carefully looked at the fonts designed by other designers, I found that many details were summarized in place. I also learned the layout of articles, how to make the typesetting of articles better, and the main and subheadings should be distinguished. But what really taught me about typography.

Observations:I have observed that typography is very strict and important to fonts, so we need to make fine strokes and strokes with the same strokes and angles. At the beginning, I thought about drawing well, but when I started to make fonts myself, I found many problems, and I was already challenged, which was a challenge I had never encountered before. I learned that a set of fonts is a very serious and complicated thing, but it is precisely because of this complexity that creates the meaning and value of the course of typography.

Finding:Although this course is very difficult for me, the Mr.Vinod will be very patient to answer my questions, and I will also admire and appreciate the works designed by others, and learn the advantages of others to reflect on myself. Due to language reasons, I may not understand as well as others, but I am trying to make progress, so typesetting not only helps me cultivate aesthetics, but also helps me cultivate aesthetics. It also let me know that a designer's engraving of details is very important.
