Reflection

What have l learnt in this module?

In this module, the most important thing I learned is the design principles. I initially realized what the design principles are and what each design principle specifically expresses. In the process of completing the homework, I gradually learned how to analyze a picture. Posters and even works of art, I have a deeper understanding of the designer’s design philosophy. I can also use the design concepts I learned to complete my final work. I also learned about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and realized that we I will also pay attention to the big problems encountered by the global village in my life and appeal to others.

What did l enjoy the most?

My favorite part is appreciating the art designed by other designers. When looking for other references for my final work, I watched the works designed by many designers, which improved my own aesthetics of the work and also benefited myself. The later design works provided inspiration. Another part I like most is the sense of accomplishment I get when designing my own works. In the process, I also improved my procreate operating skills. Although there are some places that are difficult to draw, I I like to challenge myself through learning and analysis. This process is what I like.

What did l not enjoy the most?

When looking for reference, there are some works that I like very much, but it is really difficult to find the source of the works online, and some works have to be abandoned.

What have l learnt about myself through this module?

Throughout the process, I completed my homework and studied with goals in mind. Before designing my own work, I designed the work with the knowledge I had learned and the design concepts I wanted to express. I did not design blindly. I designed the work with the teacher. During the communication process, be aware of your own shortcomings and correct them in a timely manner.

What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

During the learning process, I am more willing to explore and learn, understand knowledge I have never mastered, and my ability to appreciate works has improved. What needs to be improved is the timeliness of completing works.

What could be improved in this module?

The lecturer can explain to us what we want to learn. Maybe the students will learn more deeply. They can provide us with more examples so that we can learn more deeply. They can also go to some field trips for close learning.
